The Finnish Forest
Certification Council develops
forest certification in Finland.
|
|
The Finnish Forest Certification Council:
-
enhances economically, ecologically and socially sustainable forest management in Finland, maintains and develops the Finnish Forest Certification System;
-
administers and develops the FFCS System and coordinates at the national level the regional implementation of the System;
-
acts as the national governing body of the PEFC Council in Finland and issues PEFC logo usage rights and controls their use;
- continues the work of preceding Forest Certification Council operating in (1999-2000).
